The Mars has a longer, sleeker hull than most of the Ocean Kayak range. The hull is also V-shaped hull, giving it clean entry and exit lines to help give you more increase performance.

Overall the Mars is a good light tourer for mid-sized paddlers that is not too specialised to make it inflexible for other uses.

Gr8 for covering lots of distance quickly (fitness/touring) in flat to slight sea conditions. Likes to stay straight but is very easy to turn. Room between your legs for a small child (6yrs) to tour along also. Highly recomend this hull
