Had a go on this at the Shore demo day with the Girlfriend in the back and myself in the front. I'll say for the sake of the reader this was actually my first go in a Tandem so I don't have much to compare it with, but this is how I found it none the less...

It's wider than it seems once you're sat on it. Being 5"5' (or "short") I found myself to be clonking the sides a bit with the paddle at first (which I also realised once out on the water wasn't long enough even for me). Therefore it took a bit more effort on my behalf to compensate for these. I'm sure someone who is of average height using a better sized paddle wouldn't have this issue.

We certainly found turning was a gruelling process, although this could have likely been down to me and the missus' technique, but I have been told I should expect most tandems to be a bit more of a challenge when turning anyway.

I also spotted a bit of wobble when we first got on, but was fine for the duration of the paddle. Although just before bringing it out the water we were tipped over by a wave that hit our side!

Overall though, an enjoyable session with the exception of the short paddle issue. I would certainly like to compare it with more tandem models before coming to an overall verdict.
