Peacehaven

Undercliff walk and access to some shingle beaches, even at high tides, makes this a good location to go East towards Newhaven or West towards Brighton beneath the white cliffs

Getting There

Best access is off the A259 at Peacehaven into Steyning av .There is a car park at the top of the cliff and a ramp to trolley your yak down to the beach. At low tides, you will have to walk your kayak out via the rock pools to get clear

Pubs, cafes etc nearby and petrol station

Hazards

Rocky chalk plateau to be wary of at low tides. Nice gentle surf over this in the right conditions. Good shelter under cliffs from North winds.
