Access road to the beach to unload your kayak. You can park on the access road at certain times of the year or alternatively there is a carpark on the headland overlooking the bay
Description
The bay at Morfa Nefyn is fairly shallow , flat water with interesting coast line to explore to the left and right of the access point. To the left is a small harbour area which is very popular. The harbour has a very nice pub so after a day traversing the coastline of the bay it makes for a very refreshing pit stop. The only downside to this location is that the bay is also a very busy launch point for powerboats. They do however only launch from one side and are quickly out to sea, I've never had any problems with them when I was there.
Facilities
Toilet block at the end of the access road, pub across the bay and local shop in Morfa Nefyn itself
Put-ins / Take-outs
As per access road
Hazards
As stated power boats and the odd jet ski, but they go out to sea fairly quickly
