A12 Junction 26 follow signs to Mersea. From Colchester B1025,follow signs for Seaview Holiday Park. Free Parking at local council car park. 30 second walk from car park to beach

Description

Shallow beach and moderate tides. Very good depth of water. Public beach with no hidden charges.
If you are looking for a relaxing day a perfect location

Facilities

Nearby shops and fresh water taps. Local Windsurfers club nearby if you have any concerns,very friendly and always good for advice

Hazards

Ideal estuary just be wary of tides, be aware of shingle banks and other hazards . Best to visit at low tide before taking to the water. Can be very busy with other water craft.
