Leybourne Lakes Country Park is close to Snodland, Kent.

Good for the novice. Calm water. Easy access with kayak. Short distance from car to water. Lake not particularly big but nice for an afternoon out with the family.

How to get there:

Access via a side road off A228 (sign posted for leisure centre then first left) NOT THROUGH MAIN ENTRANCE.

Facilities:

Parking is pay and display. Season tickets are available (nearest postcode ME20 6AA).
Refreshments and toilet/changing facilities available.
Kayak hire is available from the watersports centre, a sit on top kayak, double blade paddle & buoyancy aid cost £12.00 per hour (at time of publish). Visit www.leybournelakewatersports.co.uk to check hire costs & find out more information about the Watersports centre.

Sometimes triathlon swimmers practising.

Can use pontoon or the bank.
