How to get there:
Studland Peninsula, near Corfe Castle and Swanage, Dorset. Knoll Beach is the best place to park.
Facilities:
Plenty of buoys to tie off to on route if a rest is needed.. toilets and cafe at Knoll beach, and Swanage has all needed facilities right on the beach front.
Hazards:
Strong tide when entering Swanage Bay and the rocks at Old Harry’s
Ins and Outs:
Studland/Knoll beach (one long beach just seperate names for some reason..lol) Swanage Bay
Notes:
As long as you don’t mind getting a bit muddy it is well worth the trip.
Overview:
Start on the beach, paddle through the popular bay toward and round the famous ‘Old Harry’s rocks…along the rockface for a mile or so, and into the suntrap of Swanage Bay. Coming round into Swanage
